This school year, all eight schools in the Milford School District will participate in food drives to support Fuel For Flight. Two schools will host a food drive each month, allowing every school to participate twice during the school year. Our goal is for these drives to provide approximately three months' worth of a specific food item used in our weekend food bags.

In addition, we have a community food drive planned with Recreations Outlet in October and another during Hometown for the Holidays in November with the support of the wonderful small business owners of Old Milford.

We also welcome the involvement of community organizations, businesses, churches, scout troops, clubs, and other groups interested in hosting a food drive. Community-sponsored food drives are a meaningful way to help keep our shelves stocked and ensure that students facing food insecurity continue to receive nutritious weekend meals throughout the year.  Please contact Anne Kuhn at 513-377-6704 or anne@milfordfirstumc.org if interested.
